MASTERS CRAFTSMEN From mountains to jungles, from coasts to tiny lost towns, Colombia is recognized as the land of high-quality artisans. Fascinated not only by the neatness of their work but also by their ancestral techniques, we shipped on the hunt for these daily-life objects handmade by tribes that continue techniques and traditions frozen in time. Modernity has brought young people to the cities, bringing with it the loss of traditions and techniques of hundreds of years. Objects that were previously seen as common and ordinary, today become treasured pieces.

Each piece here is unique and handmade with great effort by Colombian masters. As they are handmade objects, no two are alike and it is common to see the human trace in their finishes and dimensions. Each piece tells a story. Each piece is full of grace.

"Balay" is a traditional indigenous basket made in the southern Amazon region of Colombia. The indigenous people take the Guarumá fibers to design this type
of basket. P.S. The strong vine that forms the Balay circle in Bejuco, is symbolically related for them to the umbilical cord at birtH.
