My name is Isabella Tramontini however, Arte(sana) Botánica is the essence of my identity.  I feel Blessed to be born in Colombia and spiced with some Italian and German roots.  I Graduated in Fashion Styling and Creative Direction at Istituto Marangoni Milano. 

And now my favorite part, the emotional… 
Everything starts with my favorite source of inspiration: the creation of God, nature. The beauty that comes from every living being; from a flower to a seed, from a plant to the sea…  The idiosyncratic Fragrance found in  Nature is what I aim to portray to make fashion and creativity feel alive.

Through my eyes, I envision CREATIVITY AS A MAJESTIC arrangement of flowers which is hydrated from an environment of diverse artistic domains. Growing seeds from art, architecture music, colors, and a lot of NATURE, in part,  stimulated by my undeniable Latin roots. This perspective opened the conversation to  Interpret my creative PERFUME  across an organic language born from a BOTANICAL & NOSTALGIC escapade where nature is the muse to portray fashion with a SOPHISTICATED and BOHEMIAN RETRO CHIC aesthetic envision in a ROMANTIC environment of sensations always expressed THROUGH VISUALS  as well as in the storytelling.

My imagi(nation) is the space in which my ideas take place, where I have conversations with God, he being my creative director. On the opposite of what a lot of humans say  I believe everything is personal and I'm joyful about it. Because whatever I do, I wanna do it with passion and with love, I want to reflect what is in my soul. What I want for the people who will see my work is that they will see it through intimacy, through my eyes, and the process that was behind it. I want them to feel what I felt in order to immerse and appreciate it correctly. I want them to feel alive, to be in life, and to let the sensibility shine in their hearts… 
And now some words about my beautiful deRaíz…
 It took me time to write this, not because I don't have the words but because I have so many things that I want to say that at the end it is difficult to summarize something that changed my life. 
It all started when I was choosing the topic of my thesis for Marangoni. I remember I told my mom that my theme was  “how flowers have been influencing the creativity of  LOEWE” and she answered “Wow kind of basic no? Everybody knows about LOEWE you are not being original blabla” ( of course this ended with a petit fight buut also the most magical advice ) she told me to write about Colombia. That night I watched the Disney movie “Encanto” and then I had dreams all night about flowers and t the protagonist “Isabella” jajaj I couldn't believe how identified I felt with this girl even in the name. 
My answer was clear, God was clear.  The first thing in the morning was to start the research, the brainstormING about the possible topics which led me to create my book “Undeniable Roots: fashion & Flowers of Colombia” a book to connect with the botanical  & fashionable heritage of my nation.

During this year of developing the research,  the perspective and path of my life changed.  I understood, reconnected, and fell in love with my Undeniable roots from Colombia, as well as the beautiful creative heritage of my family always manifested through an artisanal loyalty to the values of our country. What started as a thesis project, turned out to be the beginning of embracing what was already in my heart.  My botanical universe, my sensibilities, my passions, my dreams, and most of all my personal and creative essence: La Arte(sana) Botánica.

It has been a blooming journey of gratitude towards God, first of all, my mom, my country, and My roots.  thanks to this I had the blessing to now give birth to my creative studio deRaíz.

P.S. Have faith, the plans God has for you are the most beautiful thing you will ever live.  Siempre más allá de lo soñado.
